Regional Sales Manager - Construction Market

Full-time | Sales  | Location – Central US

The Regional Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales by expanding relationships with existing clients and generating new business opportunities within the assigned geographical territory.

Territory states include: North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve and exceed sales goals within the designated territory. 

  • Conduct daily visits to both established and prospective accounts.

  • Support existing business by cultivating and maintaining functional, multi-level relationships with customers in the territory.

  • Understand customer needs and identify ways to help them achieve their goals.

  • Collaborate with inside sales representatives, customer support, purchasing, and other teams to resolve issues and follow up on sales opportunities.

HOW TO SUCCEED

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or 3-5 years related sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience in sales or a customer service environment

  • Rental Equipment / Construction  industry knowledge desirable

  • Must hold a valid state driver’s license

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Position requires extensive overnight travel, up to 75-80%.
