Your Role

As a Customer Segment Expert within the Center of Excellence for Customer Segmentation, you’ll identify and understand different customer groups to shape tailored marketing and ecommerce strategies. You will play a crucial role in translating data-driven insights into actionable strategies for targeted campaigns, improving customer engagement and ensuring our messaging resonates with the right audiences.

  • You use data-driven insights, analytics, and dashboards to deeply understand the needs, behaviors, and preferences of assigned customer segments.

  • You design and implement comprehensive e-commerce and marketing plans and strategies for each customer segment. You collaborate with senior commercial management to ensure strategic alignment.

  • You define the types of content and experiences that resonate with each customer segment. Guide regional teams to execute this tailored content effectively. You work together with the UX team to map detailed e-commerce journeys, ensuring each customer segment enjoys a seamless, engaging online experience.

  • You act as the central expert on your selected customer segments and overall customer segment strategy, and develop customer segment marketing strategies. You steer regional segment marketeers with the determined strategies and support them in customer segment activation with expertise and strategic direction.

  • You continuously track, analyze, and adjust strategies based on performance data and feedback, ensuring optimal engagement and results. You regularly present insights and trends related to key customer segments to stakeholders.


Your Profile

  • Experience with customer segmentation and data-driven marketing strategies.

  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using analytics tools and dashboards.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate insights effectively.

  • Experience in e-commerce or B2B marketing.

  • Background in customer journey mapping and personalization strategies.

  • Proven ability to effectively align cross-functional teams around shared goals. Ability to guide and influence team members outside of direct reporting lines.

  • A customer-centric mindset and deep understanding of customer needs and behavior.

  • Knowledge of personalization platforms or customer data platforms (e.g., Segment, Salesforce CDP) to enhance targeted marketing efforts.

  • Experience working with or understanding regional market differences and nuances in customer behavior.

  • Ability to present insights and recommendations compellingly to stakeholders at all levels.
