Data Scientist

At the TVH E-commerce Data Science team, we are dedicated to leveraging cutting-edge technologies to deliver innovative solutions. We are currently looking for a talented and driven data scientist to join our global team and contribute to our data-driven initiatives. YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You’ll deliver short and long term projects that support the business strategy. This will involve:
Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decisions.
Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models to solve business problems.
Collaborate within a team of data scientists, leveraging cutting-edge technologies like GenAI to enhance our customer experience.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML models into production.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning technologies and continuously improve our data science practices.
Help build and deploy personalized product recommender systems.
Optimize our product ranking algorithms.
Be available to take on incoming machine learning requests as needed.
Initial tasks evolve as new projects and priorities emerge.
HOW TO SUCCEED / YOUR PROFILE
We’re looking for someone who can come up with simple solutions to complex problems. To join us you need:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in data science or a similar role.
Proficiency in building and deploying machine learning models, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, model selection, and evaluation.
Strong expertise in Python and familiarity with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.
Experience with GCP services, particularly BigQuery, Dataflow, Vertex AI, and Cloud Storage.
Experience developing Generative AI solutions is a strong plus.
Solid understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team environment
Interest in e-commerce-oriented data science like recommender systems and search algorithm optimization.
