As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) E-commerce at TVH Parts, you'll ensure our platform stays reliable and available. You'll work with teams to build and maintain scalable systems, keeping our site running smoothly and stable.
Your role and responsibilities
Infuse the SRE mindset in the team
Part of the product team and will work with the E-commerce development and development platform teams to build and operate reliable systems for our platform
Automate deployment, monitoring, and incident processes to improve efficiency
Establish and maintain performance metrics and implement capacity planning
Guide incident response efforts during outages (together with incident managers), follow-up post-incident reviews to prevent future recurrence
Continuously propose optimizations of the system architecture and processes to improve reliability and scalability
How to succeed / Your profile
Experience in a similar role, a plus when experienced in E-commerce
Understanding of cloud principles, a plus when experienced in GCP
Experience with containerization technologies like Kubernetes is a must and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform is an asset
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Agile way of thinking
Working in a global environment, hybrid working, collaboration skills and stakeholder management
Potential sporadic travel
Nice to have: knowledge in scripting, automation, observability and devops practices and tools
