Your role and responsibilities
We are looking for a Global E-commerce Sales & Merchandising Manager to lead the growth and success of our e-commerce platform. In this role, you will drive online sales strategies, oversee global merchandising efforts, and manage a dedicated Center of Excellence (CoE) for E-commerce Merchandising. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless execution of campaigns, merchandising strategies, and platform improvements, aligning all efforts with our overarching business objectives.
E-commerce Sales Management: Develop and execute strategies to meet and exceed online revenue and profitability targets, align global sales initiatives with regional needs and customer behaviors.
Merchandising Roadmap: Oversee the development and implementation of the e-commerce merchandising roadmap. Collaborate with CMS, platform, and search teams to optimize user experience, product discovery, and sales performance.
CoE Management: Lead the E-commerce Merchandising CoE, supervising the E-commerce Merchandising Expert and managing dotted-line relationships with E-commerce Marketing Specialists.
Campaign and Promotion Oversight: Collaborate with the other CoE’s and the marketing teams to develop and execute evergreen content, global promotions, and product campaigns.
Training and Communication: Oversee the creation and distribution of communication materials for platform updates and new launches. Lead the development of training resources to onboard internal teams and customers effectively.
Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze sales, merchandising, and campaign KPIs. Implement data-driven optimizations to enhance user experience, sales performance, and platform efficiency.
Budget and Resource Management: Manage budgets for e-commerce initiatives, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to meet business objectives.
Your profile
Must haves:
5 to 10 years proven expertise in e-commerce sales and merchandising strategy.
Expertise with CMS and e-commerce platform management (e.g., UX, product discovery tools, search functionality).
Strong leadership skills (at least 2 year people management experience), including experience managing direct and dotted-line reports.
Proficiency in analyzing and optimizing e-commerce KPIs to deliver measurable results.
Solid understanding of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, and user experience optimization.
Effective budget management experience, ensuring maximum ROI on e-commerce investments.
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience leading a Center of Excellence (CoE) or similar global team structures.
Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly in global and regional collaboration.
Background in developing innovative promotional strategies to enhance customer engagement.
