South Region Branch Manager

Full-time | Logistics| Location – Greer, SC, 29651

Provides direction, leadership and management for Greer distribution center including creation and execution of operational processes to meet business objectives and goals. Provides oversight and overall management, collaborating with leaders across the organization to meet distribution and customer expectations.
 

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You’ll deliver short and long term projects that support the business strategy. This will involve:

  • Managing a distribution center team including ensuring time/attendance management, interviewing, selection, coaching, training and evaluating team members

  • Setting  the tone for the team, including ensuring positive team member engagement through appropriate recognition, feedback and communication with team members

  • Monitoring  product movements, stock-outs and replenishment orders.

  • Understanding and operating the company order entry procedures as well as the IRMN program.

  • Preparing and communicating reports and management information as requested.

  • Facilitating the full coordination and communication of TVH policies and information to the facility personnel.

  • Ensuring employee productivity

  • Ensuring safe and clean work areas

  • Working closely with Human Resources department in understanding and applying employment laws and regulations, training, and counseling

  • Traveling to other TVH locations as needed to share knowledge and participate in training

  • Direct all distribution activities of the facility including will-call and counter sales, receiving, storage, shipping of product via parcel and truck carriers, back-orders, and returns.

  • Manage all DC personnel including office and warehouse.

HOW TO SUCCEED / YOUR PROFILE

We’re looking for someone who can come up with simple solutions to complex problems. To join us you need:

  • Must possess a minimum of 3 years work experience 

  • Must possess experience and/or training in supervising, selecting, coaching, mentoring and training, as well as the demonstrated ability to effectively resolve issues, using judgment consistent with policies and legal regulations

  • Demonstrates effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization

  • Demonstrates superior organizational, time management and follow up skills.
