Performance Analyst

Full-time | Marketing | Location – Olathe, KS, 66022

Are you a data enthusiast with a knack for transforming insights into effective business strategies? We invite you to become an integral part of the Performance and Insights Team within our Omnichannel & Marketing Experience department (OMAX). As our Performance & Data Analyst, you'll be the driving force behind our data-driven decision-making, shaping the future of our marketing and omnichannel initiatives.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You’ll deliver a mix of (customer, ecommerce & marketing) analytics, strategy, and innovation. This will involve:

  • Deep analytics: Utilize your proficiency in SQL, R, or Python to dissect complex customer, e-commerce, and marketing data. Your analytical thinking will reveal trends and insights crucial for our strategic direction.

  • Direct impact: Develop improvement plans to enhance the ROI of our e-commerce and marketing efforts. Your work will directly influence customer behavior, optimizing their journey across our platforms.

  • Collaborative excellence: Work alongside a diverse team, co-creating a performance capability roadmap that aligns with our corporate strategy. Your insights will foster a collaborative environment that values data-driven decisions.

  • KPI mastery: Design, manage, and refine KPI frameworks. Regular reporting to leadership will keep them abreast of trends and strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals.

  • Community leadership: Act as a Subject Matter Expert in customer, marketing & ecommerce analytics, nurturing a data-driven culture. Your guidance will empower teams across OMAX, fostering excellence in performance & insights.

HOW TO SUCCEED / YOUR PROFILE

We’re looking for someone who has the perfect blend between analytical skills and business acumen. To join us you need:

  • Education: A Master’s degree in applied economics, analytics or a related field.

  • Technical expertise: Expertise in SQL (or R, Python,...) and familiarity with BI systems like Tableau, Google BigQuery, or Qlikview with at least 5 years of experience required 

  • Experience counts: At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, proving your analytical and strategic capabilities.

  • Soft Skills: Highly proactive, a critical thinker, and an excellent communicator who thrives both independently and in a team setting. Your focus on continuous improvement and problem-solving sets you apart.

  • Born presenter: Demonstrates outstanding skills in delivering presentations, effectively engaging diverse audiences.

  • Analytical Translator: Proficient in articulating complex concepts in a manner that is accessible to both technical experts and business-oriented individuals.

  • End-2-End Thinker: Adept at converting analytical insights into well-defined, actionable strategies and recommendations.

  • Highly adaptable: You work hard to create new ideas and welcome challenges in a quickly changing and complex environment.
