Warehouse Lead
 Full-time | Logistics | Location – Olathe, KS, 66062 | 1st Shift

Responsible for coordinating all distribution center activities in a manner that is consistent with

company service and cost objectives.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Assists with training/certifying crewmembers on material handling equipment on an as needed basis.

  • Ensures the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment.

  • Trains crew in appropriate processes and procedures within the department.

  • Ensures product is appropriately received, packaged, stocked, fulfilled, checked and shipped in

  • according to established standards.

  • Ensure general employee productivity at all times.

  • Be a problem solver and take initiative.

  • Must maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Completes necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Conducts line meetings with crewmembers to discuss results of data analysis and corrective actions to

  • be implemented.

  • Participates in operations development and problem solving meetings as requested.

  • Assists management in developing and maintaining work instructions for department.

  • Maintains confidentiality in all areas.

  • Supports and enforces recommendations from management.

  • Must be able to cooperate, communicate and work effectively with all levels of employees.

  • Ability to assist in fostering and driving a team-based environment.

  • Maintain a positive upbeat outlook at all times.

  • May perform work of crew member as needed.

  • Perform other assignments / tasks as assigned by management.

  • Must be able to work evenings and or weekends as required.
