Senior Investment Analyst - Americas Region

Full-time | Finance | Location – Olathe, KS

Join our expanding global team as the Senior Investment Analyst for the Americas region. He or she will play a crucial role in the M&A process, from origination to integration. This role requires a strategic thinker with a keen eye for identifying potential acquisition targets, truly understanding how organizations work, and developing and driving comprehensive synergy &  integration plans. In addition, he or she will work closely together with the US Management team and the Strategy and M&A teams based in Belgium on global strategy and the execution of acquisitions across the globe. This person will play a key role post-acquisition in liaising with the management team of TVH and the acquired companies to bring both companies closer together and bring synergies to life. This person will also play a central role in following up performance (in the broad sense) of the acquired companies.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Origination:

  • Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets based on our strategic direction.

  • Filter through leads to focus on the most promising opportunities.

  • Lead preliminary research on identified targets and make initial contact.

Analysis:

  • Perform financial and strategic analysis and help coordinate due diligence efforts across multiple internal and external teams.

  • Based on due diligence findings, providing valuable insights and recommendations regarding strategic fit, synergies and growth opportunities.

  • Develop the business plan and integration plan, both short and long term, together with the target and with TVH business stakeholders.

Integration:

  • Drive the implementation of the post-acquisition integration plans, ensuring a smooth transition and alignment with our company’s strategic goals.

  • Monitor and report to management on integration progress and company performance.

HOW TO SUCCEED / YOUR PROFILE

We're looking for a dynamic individual who understands the nuances of the M&A landscape in the Americas. The ideal candidate should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant corporate development or M&A experience, ideally with a focus on the Americas and the Industrials segment.

  • Experience with integration planning and execution is highly beneficial.

  • Good understanding of corporate finance. 

  • Capable of rapidly grasping a business’ key workings and dynamics.

  • Proven relationship management abilities.

  • An acute cultural awareness of the Americas region.

  • An adeptness at project management, able to handle concurrent projects and tight deadlines.

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and adaptability.

  • Technical proficiency, notably with the Microsoft Office suite; familiarity with tools like Tableau is beneficial. 

  • Willingness to travel.
