USA Inside Sales Supervisor
Full-time | Sales | Location: Olathe, KS
Provide supervision, training, and coaching for domestic Inside Sales Representatives to ensure continuous improvement of sales skills and knowledge. Your goal will be to maintain and grow sales with both new and existing customers while supporting the Manager of USA Sales in implementing sales policies and procedures.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise, lead, mentor, select, train, and evaluate domestic inside sales representatives, ensuring appropriate staffing and high team performance.
Manage team schedules, time-off requests, payroll approvals, and overtime to meet sales objectives.
Oversee phone coverage and ensure excellent customer service at all times.
Set sales goals and provide training, coaching, and feedback to help team members succeed.
Monitor and review calls, offering feedback and support to enhance performance.
Mentor team members for future leadership roles within TVH or other areas of the company.
Ensure compliance with company policies and collaborate with Human Resources as necessary.
Actively participate in talent acquisition, interviewing, and training of new team members.
Identify training needs and coordinate development in areas such as product knowledge, market knowledge, and soft skills.
Establish and monitor departmental expectations, including outbound call volume, response times, and email etiquette.
Foster a positive, engaged team environment by conducting monthly one-on-one meetings, recognizing achievements, and offering feedback.
Handle escalated customer calls, including issues related to claims, shipments, and general complaints.
Collaborate with sales management and IT to implement ERP system improvements.
Develop and manage effective backup plans to ensure uninterrupted customer service.
HOW TO SUCCEED
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the material handling or industrial equipment industry.
At least 3 years of experience managing sales representatives.
Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
A proven track record of coaching and guiding teams to achieve sales objectives.
The ability to solve problems, think critically, and make sound decisions.
A positive, collaborative attitude and commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
A willingness to travel domestically (up to 10%).
