We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Director EMEA to lead our financial operations in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.

As the Finance Director EMEA, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy, overseeing financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Reporting directly to the Global Vice President of Finance, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial guidance, optimizing performance, and enhancing profitability across the region.

Your role and responsibilities

Financial Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives and growth plans.

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and long-term financial planning for the EMEA region.

  • Analyze market trends, economic indicators, and industry benchmarks to inform strategic decision-making.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  • Provide insightful analysis of financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Provide guidance and support to regional finance teams, promoting professional development and growth opportunities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial initiatives and achieve organizational goals.

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities, implementing strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax laws, and statutory requirements in the EMEA region.

  • Implement effective internal controls and processes to safeguard company assets and promote operational efficiency.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, department heads, and regional managers.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Global VP Finance, providing timely and accurate financial insights and recommendations.

  • Act as a liaison between the EMEA finance team and other functional areas, fostering collaboration and alignment.

How to succeed / Your profile

  • Master's degree

  • 10 years of experience in a senior finance leadership role, preferably within a multinational organization operating in the EMEA region.

  • Excellent analytical skills and insights in strategic recommendations.

  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to travel extensively within the EMEA region as required.
