CNC Set Up Programmer
Full-time | Manufacturing | Location – Grayslake, IL | Shift- 2:00 pm - 12:30 am Monday - Thursday

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You’ll deliver short and long term projects that support the business strategy. This will involve:
Perform a variety of tasks associated with the manufacturing and operations using a CNC controlled Lathe and or Mill and cutting using a wide variety of machine shop tools and equipment.
Create complex CNC programs independently of new parts and amend existing programs
Program and set up all machines in assigned department
Process routing operations following standardized methods rates and processes
Present parts for specified inspection and to inspect parts with measuring tools to insure integrity and quality of parts.
Generally meets and exceeds productivity and accuracy goals
Provide reliable solutions to moderately complex problems
Identifies, researches and resolves basic and/or moderately complex issues
Offer suggestions to improve processes and/or systems
Work collaboratively team members to achieve balanced scorecard objectives
Work professionally and in a positive and respectful manner with other TVH departments
Adheres to attendance policy, maintaining an acceptable attendance record
Demonstrates compliance with safety policies, procedures and guidelines including proficiently maintaining a clean and organized work area

HOW TO SUCCEED
We’re looking for someone who can come up with simple solutions to complex problems. To join us you need:
18 + years of age
The ability to read, write, and speak English
Prior experience with programming and setup for CNC Setup Lathe and or Mill and cutting using a wide variety of machine shop tools and equipment.
Demonstrates comprehension and ability to learn moderately complex functions in areas of specialization
Demonstrates proficiency to research and resolve issues of moderate complexity
Demonstrates effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with prior experience in working collaboratively across teams and departments
Demonstrates proficient organizational, time management and follow up skills
Must be team oriented and possess a positive attitude with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with others
Demonstrates a desire and commitment to promote and share the TVH mission, vision, values and culture
