YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You’ll deliver short and long term projects that support the business strategy. This will involve:
Oversee receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to company standards.
Oversee the safe and efficient operation of material handling equipment, including Emaint.
Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and HazMat shipping practices.
Prioritize safety in all operations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Foster a collaborative team environment and ensure consistent productivity.
Conduct monthly one-on-one meetings with staff and YPMs for performance feedback and coaching.
Provides training and certification for team members on material handling equipment, as needed.
Guarantees timely ordering of supplies to maintain smooth operations.
Establishes work schedules, streamlines workflow, assigns tasks, and ensures work is completed accurately, neatly, and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Manages overtime to meet business demands and controls supply costs.
HOW TO SUCCEED
We’re looking for someone who can come up with simple solutions to complex problems. To join us you need:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience.
Must have at least 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse environment.
Must be able to work on-site full-time.
Ability to perform most activities in a warehouse environment with seasonal climate.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrates intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Google Suite (Mail, Calendar, Hangouts, Sheets, Drive).
Physical Demands
Frequent standing, reaching with hands and arms, and using hands to handle, feel, or manipulate objects, tools, or controls.
Regular walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and occasional crawling.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up 50 pounds.
Occasional overtime and travel may be required.
Ability to remain on feet and mobile for most of the day.
