Your role and responsibilities
Responsibility for the timeliness, accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations of all accounting processes.
Responsibility for preparing of reporting to the Statistical Office.
Provide support, training and coaching of junior members of the accounting team in their day-to-day activities.
Support the Chief Accountant in the taxes calculations ( VAT, CIT, WHT and other taxes).
Providing support for external audits.
Ensuring accuracy, timeliness and completeness of all tasks.
Developing and maintaining working familiarity with applicable laws, regulations and interpretations governing financial statements and disclosures.
Preparing accounts reconciliations.
Assisting in month-end closing preparation.
Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes.
Actively review and advise on financial/accounting processes.
How to succeed / your profile
You have a Bachelor or Master (Accountancy & Tax system, Applied Economics, accounting, finance or comparable).
You have thorough accounting and tax knowledge.
You have knowledge of Intrastat, accounting programs (e.G. ASW) and payments programs (e.g. Isabel).
You speak fluent Polish and English.
You are proactive, you work in an efficient way and you are always open to learn and improve.
