Inside Sales Representative 

Full-time | Sales - SSI  | Location – Olathe, KS, 66022 

Expand our business and increase sales with existing accounts, distributor and end user customers with the objective to meet quarterly sales commission quota and maintain customer satisfaction.


 

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES


 

  • Grow and maintain customers including taking inbound and making outbound calls to a variety of existing and potential customers, while meeting the minimum outbound call goal required daily

  • Leverage knowledge of SSI sales processes, industrial lighting industry,  and material handling and industrial parts to identify customer needs, and present all appropriate products and services 

  • Build and foster effective customer relationships and sales opportunities to support meeting required sales objectives 

  • Develop low value, new and/or inactive customers

  • Navigate in and research information within company ERP and Salesforce systems to check product price and availability, correspond and enter customer feedback and/or action items, and record quotes

  • Leverage established SSI products, sales and customer relations processes, concepts, and systems to provide effective and timely customer service


 

HOW TO SUCCEED

  • Must possess a minimum of 2 years’ work experience in an Inside Sales or other applicable customer service/inside sales role with proven experience in handling inbound and making outbound calls

  • Proven track record in meeting sales objectives 

  • Demonstrate proficient understanding of the industrial lighting industry, as well as the industrial parts industry, parts, customers, suppliers and vendors 

  • Demonstrate proficient understanding and demonstrating inside sales techniques including cold calling, customer qualification and customer acquisition 

  • Demonstrate proficient knowledge and ability to handle credit card processing

  • Demonstrate proficiency using a company business and Sales Force
