Customer Data Management Supervisor
Full-time | Sales | Location – Olathe, KS or Grayslake, IL
Purpose
Responsible for overseeing, training, and mentoring Customer Development Administrators and Sales Prospectors to ensure the integrity and implementation of data for enhanced business operations and reporting. Provide support to Sales Departments and the V.P. of Sales in managing customer data, processing incoming applications, generating reports, and facilitating ECommerce access. Additionally, handle the processing of incoming leads and lists to onboard new customers.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Sets the tone for the team, including ensuring positive team member engagement through conducting monthly 1:1 meeting with each team member, providing appropriate recognition, feedback and communication with team members.
Oversee, guide, mentor, train, and manage staff, while also ensuring appropriate staffing levels are maintained through effective management overtime.
Assist in the conversion of data from prospect lists into our business systems.
Running account reports and analyzing data from various sources (Tableau, Salesforce, LINK) to provide reports to other departments and executives of the company.
Ensure compliance with company and departmental policies and procedures and collaborate with Human Resources as needed.
Use advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other internal programs to manage data used when updating the customer record.
Experience & Skills:
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Must be proficient in Excel, formulas, V-Lookup, etc.
Demonstrates strong teamwork abilities and possesses excellent analytical and communication skills.
Must possess a minimum of 3-5 years sales or data management experience in the material handling or industrial equipment industry preferred.
Must possess 3 years' work experience with management of sales representatives and customer support representatives.
Proven ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, clients, and customers.
Demonstrated ability and commitment to an engaged workforce.
Demonstrated experience and ability to objectively manage and coach employees through complex, difficult, and emotional issues.
Proven capability to offer recommendations that effectively address issues, ensuring alignment with established standards, practices, policies, regulations, or government laws.
Demonstrates intermediate proficiency in navigating a business ERP system.
Proven experience and demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate in an effective, positive manner with managers and individual contributors in a team environment.
Demonstrates effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Demonstrates proficient organizational, time management and follow up skills.
Demonstrates critical thinking and effective analytical skills
Demonstrates effective decision making and active listening skills
Must be team oriented, possess a positive attitude and collaborate effectively with others to achieve goals in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Demonstrates a proven track record in guiding team members to meet and exceed sales objectives
