Hear from the people who keep us going

It only takes me 13 minutes to get from my bedroom to my office. And I don’t even mean the home office. That is a luxury. It gives me extra time to be around family and friends, do things I enjoy, such as play golf and basketball with my daughter.
I love the trust, the people and the culture at TVH. We are all on the same mission and we help each other get there. And everyone’s opinion matters in this story. The people really make the difference over here.

I have so many interests … Enjoying quality time with my wife and son, taking photographs of food, capturing special moments in life. Also, I have always been a passionate gamer. And 5 years ago, I started practising kendo. It helped me to focus on improving myself rather than competing with others.
Every new project brings new challenges, learnings and opportunities to grow. That fits in with my general curiosity. I want to know all about discoveries, inventions and technology for example. And learning new languages helps me to connect with people across cultures throughout TVH.

I love swimming, camping and being a father to six kids. People will probably describe me as a good listener, reliable friend and a thoughtful problem solver.

These characteristics also help me in my job. I am always open to listen to the customers’ needs and am eager to take away their troubles and find solutions. I love the diversity that comes with it.

I have more hobbies than hours in a day. From hiking to gaming with friends. I even built a PC for my partner. And I ran 10K thanks to the TVH Nudge Challenges. I hadn’t done that amount of distance in about 10 years.

I always try to be optimistic. A positive attitude makes all the difference. In my role I liaise a lot with colleagues from sales to warehouse and all in-between. Being able to help them is why I love my job.

My family is my strength. I enjoy every moment with them. We always gather for dinner and talk about our day, our life. I also like to travel. It inspires me to see, taste and try new things.
I like to help people. Both in my personal life and my job. In HR we stand by both the company and our employees because we are one.
What I like most about TVH is the fact that we work together happily and communicate openly. And I get to do what I know best and still learn new things.

Rugby plays a big part in my life. I am involved in the organisation of rugby in the East Midlands. And I got accepted as a volunteer for the Commonwealth Games.

I love to please customers. As a key account manager I look after some of our biggest customers. Together with the great people I get to work with of course.

I get along with people from all walks of life. Being friendly, outgoing and using a sense of humour works miracles.

I am huge on family. Especially spending time with my daughter. I love to swim, cook, and design with ideas that come to my mind.

Friends would probably describe me as loving, caring and witty. But also as determined. I have a personal goal every day. And whatever goal I set, I make it. Even when I run into challenges.

TVH really helped me grow as a person, as far as wanting more for myself. And thanks to daycare, my little girl is always nearby. That means a lot to me.
