Job Summary

The Vice President (VP) of Finance is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of TVH globally. This includes developing and implementing finance strategy, managing budgets and
financial reports, and providing financial analysis and advice to the organization's leadership team. You will play a key role in identifying potential financial risks and opportunities, and in developing
and maintaining relationships with banks, shareholders, auditors, and other partners. As VP of Finance you are also accountable for managing and developing the organization's financial team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an organizational blueprint and finance strategy to meet the organization's goals and objectives, in particular in light of the roll out of a new Finance and ERP system from 2023 until 2027
  • Coordinate the preparation and management of financial reports, including overseeing a gradual transition from local GAAP towards IFRS financial reporting
  • Provide financial analysis and advice to the organization's leadership team
  • Develop and maintain relationships with banks and oversee treasury operations globally
  • Manage relationships with external auditors
  • Support financial reporting to shareholders and other financial institutions
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams and build strong relationships of trust
  • Support the organization’s growth and build a strong global finance team with long-term and people-centric vision
  • Bring added value and strong international finance expertise to deep dive and tackle daily operational challenges
  • Manage and develop the organization's finance team (excluding Tax, FP&A) and lead the core Finance team (150), managed by 3 regional Finance Directors
  • Report to the CFO
  • The role is based in Waregem, Belgium with frequent travels to other regional hubs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field and/or a master's degree in business administration (MBA) or a master's degree in finance (MSc, MA)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, including experience in a leadership role
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis, accounting, and financial management principles and practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage and develop a team
  • Experience with financial systems and software, such as ERP and accounting software (Oracle, SigmaConso)
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and laws
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong integrity and ethics
  • Fluent in English
