As Functional Analyst you will act as the link between IT and Business within TVH which means you are responsible for analysing the IT integrations needed to align specific software applications in case of mergers and acquisitions. 
You translate these into functional analyses, and ultimately represent those needs within the IT department.  


Within an Agile environment, you deliver projects with the other members of the scrum team. 

You map the processes and the information flows of the acquired company in close collaboration with all stakeholders, using different ways to gather input such as event storming, story mapping, user journey generation, etc.

In close collaboration with your IT colleagues, you analyse these needs,translate them into functional specifications and prioritize them to suit the business’ needs in a timely manner.

You continuously advise the business about potential process improvements and about the quality of the used tools.(f.e. upload procedures, configuration options)

By professionally managing the changes, you minimise their impact in the organisation.   

As Functional Analyst M&A you will be part of the M&A squad.The M&A squad will be responsible for the end to end integration of acquired companies in terms of set-up and configuration and coordination with the product squad when certain capabilities require customisation. 

Next to that, the squad needs to build expertise in automating the migration process of  software systems  for acquired companies to the TVH  processes/systems (f.e. upload procedures, configuration options) to improve the efficiency and lead time of integrations.

Education & experience

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in economics, commercial sciences, IT or relevant experience in the analysis of the corporate needs and the translation of these into a functional analysis.
  • Familiarity with Corporate ERP-systems and processes and affinity for and some experience with the general principles of software development. 
  • Project development methodologies such as Prince2 or Scrum (Agile) sound familiar.
  • Fluent communication (speaking and writing) in English and Dutch
  • Knowledge of SQL is a very nice to have

Good to know:

  • You are willing to travel 1 or 2 weeks per quarter. 
  • We will welcome you in our offices in Waregem 2 to 3 times a week. We provide 2 working from home days per week.
